Representative Thorpe thinks that college students “unfairly influence” elections and pushed legislation that would prohibit students from voting using their school address. His district includes Northern Arizona University. Thorpe also introduced a bill aiming to prohibit schools from teaching students about “social justice toward a race, gender, religion, political affiliation, social class or other class of people.”
